Critique ideas, not people.
Project discussion works when it stays reproducible and professional. This is what that means in practice.
Expected
- Communicate professionally and stay on topic
- Critique ideas and code, not the people behind them
- Provide enough context for others to reproduce a technical claim
- Respect maintainers' and contributors' time
Not acceptable
- Harassment, threats or discriminatory abuse
- Deliberate disruption of project discussion
- Doxxing or sharing someone's private information
- Sustained personal attacks
ENFORCEMENT
Maintainers moderate to protect the project, not any one contributor's ego.
Maintainers may remove content or restrict participation when it is needed to keep discussion constructive. A dedicated private way to report a conduct issue is not set up yet; until then, raise it directly with a maintainer through the repository.
